Best Sig 9mm - SIG has many great semi-auto pistols and the P365 and P320 are two of the most popular for compact concealed carry!
SIG Sauer has an amazing line of guns; Long guns, full-sized handguns, compact, sub-compact and micro-compact guns – and all of them are fantastically popular.
Best Sig 9mm
While SIG models vary by category, I have seen many gun owners and potential buyers specifically consider the SIG Sauer P365 vs P320 Compact – not to be confused with XCompact… or Sub-compact.
Used Sig Sauer P226 Review
It can be very confusing when you consider all your options! Within the P365 family you have the P365, SAS, XL and XL Romeo models. And then you have the P320 family, P320 full-size, carry, compact, sub-compact, M-17, M-18, RX full-size, RX compact, sub compact with rail and more!
With so many SIGs to choose from, I can see why the P320 Compact Vs. P365 appears more often. Both striker-operated semi-automatic pistols begin with the letter "P" followed by the number 300, both are designed for concealment, and both are available in 9mm.
The most notable difference between the two weapons is size. While SIG Sauer makes both guns carry, they approach the subject in very different ways.
The P365 is almost a pocket pistol and the P320 Compact is smaller than most utility pistols. The P320 comes from the Glock 19 school of compact firearm design.
Gun Review: Sig Sauer P322 .22lr Rimfire Pistol
The P365 is 8 ounces lighter, about 2 inches shorter, and half an inch thinner. Seeing them side by side is what immediately sells you on the differences between them. If a side-by-side comparison doesn't help, it sure does if you holster them and put them to wear. By its very nature, the P365 is more conveniently concealed when worn.
The P320 compact is tough to carry but easy to shoot. The large, compact frame allows you to hold the gun better, and the more guns you can hold, the better you shoot. It also includes the M1913 add-on rail – a major deciding factor for many gun customers these days.
If you go the P365 route, you'll stick with the 9mm, while the P320 Compact offers 9mm, 40 S&W, and 357 SIG caliber options.
The larger P320 compact predictably holds more rounds than the P365, and more rounds are often better than fewer rounds, right? The P365 comes close with its extended 15-round magazine, but the P320 Compact can hold 21 rounds.

The P320 Compact has an excellent Picatinny rail that allows you to mount a light, laser or training device on it. As a fan of gun mounted lights, the rail definitely makes a difference.
The P365 has a proprietary rail that only fits certain accessories. Being a small weapon, the size you can carry it is somewhat limited.
Which weapon should you choose? I can't answer that question for you, but I can give you some questions to ask yourself.
If concealment is a top priority, choose the P365. From IWB to Ankle Carry, the P365 deftly beats the competition.
Head To Head: Sig P365 Vs Glock 48
If shooting capability is a top priority, choose the P320 Compact. This sturdy pistol is still easy to carry inside the waistband and allows for a firm grip for larger hands.
New to concealed carry? You'll have more success with the more portable P365 in a crossbreed accounting case.
However, if you are looking for a gun that can easily transition from concealed carry to home defense, then go for the P320 Compact.
Guns have proven to be the best guns for self defense! The SIG P320 Compact and SIG P365 are reliable, accurate and well made.

Glock 43 Vs. Sig Sauer P938
) company founded in 1853 that merged with Sauer of Germany in 1976 to produce firearms. The combined company rode the wave of European handgun manufacturers in the late 1980s and 1990s with a line of handguns based on the original P210 platform.
Today, Sig Sauer sells a complete line of handguns and modern sporting rifles in the United States and has entered both the military and law enforcement markets. Although the company failed to sell the P226 pistol to the US military in 1984—losing out to Italy's Beretta in 2017—it managed to win a contract for Beretta's replacement, the M17 Modular Pistol System. Here is a list of some of the best Sig Sauer service pistols.
The Sig P210 is the original pistol that launched the company's entire line of P2XX pistols. The P210 is widely regarded as one of the best designed pistols of the twentieth century. Adopted by the Swiss Army in 1949, it replaced the Swiss copy of the Luger P08 Model 29 pistol. The P210 is also considered one of the most accurate pistols ever made.
The P210 is built as one would expect from a Swiss watch: "beautifully crafted" with carefully assembled parts. The design itself is based on the locked-breech, short-recoil pistol operating system devised by John Moses Browning, and can be disassembled like a standard Colt-Browning pistol. The P210 is chambered in 9mm and its only drawback was the eight-round magazine, which was remarkable at the time, but was about half the size of today's magazines. The P210 was used by the Swiss Army, the Danish Army and the West German Border Guard.

Another pistol in the Sig line that became famous was the M75, otherwise known as the Sig P220. The M75 was adopted by the Swiss Army in 1975 and was the logical evolution of the P210. The pistol was internally similar to the P210, incorporating a manual decocker that lowered the hammer into the safety notch without pulling the trigger. It also featured a firing pin lock that prevented the weapon from firing even if it was released while cocking.
The P220 also differs from the P210 in having a shorter barrel and larger trigger. The pistol is still in production and is available in 9mm, .45 ACP and 10mm Auto. The P220 has found success in law enforcement organizations around the world, including in Sweden and the United States, and is the sidearm of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces.
The P226 was Sig's most successful weapon in the American market and its most popular pistol. The P226 was originally developed for the US Army competition to replace the WWII-era M1911A1 handgun with a modern design. Although he lost out to the Beretta, a series of dangerous accidents involving Berettas in Navy service forced the SEALs to switch to the P226.
The P226 became a very popular pistol, armed with a SEAL patch and used in bursts of high-capacity 9mm handguns due to the Glock.
Review: Sig M17 9mm +p Ammunition
Internally, the Sig P226 is similar to its predecessors and has a double-action/single-action design: the first shot requires a longer ten-pound trigger pull to cock the pistol and then fire, while subsequent shots have a lighter 4.4-pound. Unlike previous Sig P2XX guns, the P226 had a double-column magazine that extended the grip but allowed for carrying fifteen 9mm rounds—almost twice as many as previous Sigs—in a single magazine.
The Sig P226 is a large steel pistol that is not easy to conceal. Sig Sauer developed the P229 as an alternative. The P229 is a small, short pistol in the same size and weight range as the Glock 19 and Smith & Wesson M&P Compact.
The P229 is a scaled-down P226 with a 0.4-inch shorter barrel than its predecessor. The pistol holds a 9mm, fifteen-round magazine and still retains an all-metal gun, resulting in a pistol that weighs thirty-four ounces loaded—five ounces more than the Glock 19. At 1.5 inches, it's even a third. inches wider than the Glock 19. However, the P229 is an excellent compact pistol for those accustomed to Sig's manual of arms or needing a decocker.
In 2017, Sig Sauer beat out Glock, Beretta and other competitors for the US Army's M17 Modular Handgun System (MHS). The M17 is based on the Sig Sauer P320 and on the surface looks like other Sig pistols – but there are more
